Admirals skate to 2 & 4 record on Canadian Trip

The West Sound Admirals helped the WSHL make history this past week as the Northwest division teams traveled to Alberta and Saskatchewan to play 6 games against the Provincial division of the WSHL.

The Admirals had to leave 3 players home due to Visa issues so they played short-handed in all 6 games.

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 10
The Admirals played game 1 against the Hinton Wildcats in HInton Alberta.  The Wildcats would take this game 5 - 3.

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 11
The Admirals took part in a nice Remembrance Day ceremony as they faced-off against the Edson Aeros.  Edson would win this game 7 - 2

MONDAY NOVEMBER 12
The Admirals travelled back to HInton to play the Wildcats a second time.  Penalty trouble would cause the Admirals to lose this game 8 - 1.

THURSDAY NOVEMBER 15
The Admirals travelled to Meadow Lake Saskatchewan to play the Meadow Lake Mustangs.  The Admirals showed some resliency as they battled to an 8 - 4 win.

FRIDAY NOVEMBER 16
The Admirals played their first overtime game of the season against the Cold Lake Wings.  The Admirals scored with just 0.32 seconds left in rgulation and then scored on the 2nd shift of overtime to win the game 6 - 5.

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 17
The Admirals headed back to Meadow Lake to play the Mustangs again.  This time the Mustangs skated to a 4 - 3 win over West Sound.
